For the past two years, RideWith Purpose motorcycle riders raised over $60,000 in donations for Water For People while riding their motorcycles to the AWWA National Conference from all parts of North America.

This year, in an additional and novel way to raise funds for Water For People, the Water Buffaloes at Ride With Purpose are organizing an exciting raffle for a brand new 2008 Harley Davidson Road Glide motorcycle. This is no small starter-bike or general souvenir bike this bad boy is a fully loaded highway cruiser (shown below) done in a sharp Pearl Blue color scheme, valued at $18,595 (MSRP).

This bike will be raffled off at the Water For People booth at the AWWA National Conference (ACE09) in San Diego, California in June 2009. All net raffle proceeds go to Water For People. Come see this bike! It will be in the Water For People booth! Come sit on it, get the feel of it, utter Harley engine sounds (but try not to drool on it).

Raffle tickets can either be purchased in person at the Water For People booth or you can pre-purchase blocks of raffle tickets via your favorite Ride With Purpose riders or by clicking on this link to get the proxy form and following the directions

Here are the raffle basics:

1. Raffle tickets are $50 each. Buy as many tickets as you like. We will sell as many raffle tickets as we can.
2. All net proceeds go to Water For People
3. There are two ways to buy tickets (all tickets have an equal chance to win):
1. Raffle tickets can be physically purchased by any buyer at the Water For People booth between 8:00 am Sunday, June 8 and 11:00 am Wednesday, June 11, 2008.
2. Ride With Purpose riders or Nancy Stewart of Water For People can act as proxy buyers for anyone not able to buy them directly from the Water For People booth. 4. You need not be present to win.
5. Ride With Purpose members and Water For People staff and their families are ineligible to win.

7. The raffle draw will be conducted by Water For People at 11:00 am at their booth on June 11, 2008 and the winner will be announced and notified by Water For People.
