2024 GA WFP - RWP BBQ COOKOFF COMPETITION
2024 BBQ Cookoff Competition - SAVANNAH, GEORGIA
The Georgia BBQ Committee is excited to partner with Ride with Purpose: "The Water Buffalos" to host another annual BBQ Cookoff Competition to raise money for Water for People and Community Engineering Corps supporting their efforts to provide drinking water and wastewater services to communities in need.
This year’s event turns a BBQ competition into an outdoor festival starting Saturday evening with a cornhole tournament, music, and fellowship while the teams work hard preparing their BBQ entries. Although this means no BBQ on Saturday, it’s a great chance to meet the master grillers.
On Sunday afternoon - beginning at noon (12 pm) the BBQ Competition is open for tasting with Awards for the Best BBQ to follow at 5 pm. Some teams will also be providing a side dish.
The BBQ Cookoff Competition festivities will take place in Bryan Square between the Convention and Trade Center and the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort and Spa on Hutchinson Island. Guests are invited to arrive after 5 pm on Saturday and stay with us the entire weekend!
